SABIENG

Thai Cooking School

Classes & Menu

Do a quick poll and you will find that Thai cuisine is arguably the most popular in the world. With dishes that often marry three to five fundamental tastes at once (sour, sweet, salty, bitter, and spicy), it is no wonder that there’s always a Thai dish for everyone no matter what their preference. It is often said that Thai cooking rejects simplicity and seeks to find harmony between components and create a complex singular epicurean finish. If you have ever wondered how Thai dishes come about and would like to go beyond simply consuming them, Sabieng Thai Cooking School can help demystify that thought

Your journey will begin with a local market tour by Tuk Tuk to see and pick out the ingredients. You will travel into Bangkok’s biggest local markets and get your senses lost in the bustling setting. Fresh vegetables, seafood, fruits, and more will provide aromas to pique your imagination

The market tour also allows the guests to explore the local culture and exotic ingredients such as herbs and spices

Back at the school, our courses offer a one-of-a-kind experience of cooking famous Thai dishes with exclusive techniques that shall make your food more authentic with a touch of Thai style in a cozy atmosphere. We’re providing the ingredients, equipment, and individual cooking station which you can make your delicious Thai dishes along with having more fun by making new friends from around the world during the activities
The reservation may be made incrementally according to the website’s and newsletter’s indicated hours and timetables. We provide four distinct courses, including public, private, team-building, and advanced

Public Class

Caters to people with keen interests in food and culture. In 3.5 hours, you will learn to cook famous Thai dishes in a relaxed and friendly environment. Small classes take place in a cozy air-conditioned room and a fully furnished kitchen with a commercial kitchen exhaust hood, led by certified Thai cooks, making for a highly personalized and rewarding experience.
Each class starts with a trip to Bangkok’s biggest fresh market-Khlong Toei Market to shop and learn about all the fresh ingredients. Follow with a unique tuk-tuk ride experience back to the school and our chef will be ready to unravel the process of Thai cooking end-to-end. Students will learn to prepare complete 4-course authentic Thai dishes from scratch and in the end, relish their Thai cuisine creation with new knowledge on how to do it on their own. An E-recipe will be provided after the session
